INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS
Installation
WARNING
' When installing, choose a level and flat surface that can sufficiently withstand the weight of this unit. Failure to do so could
cause the unit to fall, resulting in an accident. If installed on a shelf, the user is responsible for confirming that the location
is fully able to support the heavy weight of the amplifier.
' To promote heat-emission, do not put objects on top of this unit or cover with a sheet (such as cloth or curtains) while
operating. Failure to do so could cause the unit to malfunction through abnormal heating.
' The power unit and main unit each rests on three large main legs and two smaller auxiliary legs. The two auxiliary legs are
provided to prevent the unit from suddenly striking the floor in the event that sudden weight is placed on the unit, but they
do not contact the floor under normal conditions.
CAUTION
' When installing the unit, leave a clearance of at least 10 cm from the top, 10 cm from the back, and 10 cm from the sides
of the unit to allow for optimal heat dissipation. To prevent interruption of cooling air flow to the unit, do not install it on
carpets, rugs, or other soft materials, or in narrow locations without sufficient surrounding clearance.
' Never install the unit on a rug, cushion or other soft surface, or in a narrow location that may interfere with natural air flow
around the unit.
' The legs on both the power unit and main unit of the unit are three-point spikes and may scratch or scar the surface on
which the units are placed. In order to avoid such damage, it is recommended that the accessory felt pads be placed under
the feet. Care should always be used when moving the units, however, since even when the felt pads are used, scarring
may result if the units are dragged across the mounting surface.
