3.1. Handling batteries
Avoid contact with battery acid. If battery acid comes into
contact with skin, eyes or mucous membranes, rinse the af-
fected areas with plenty of clean water and consult a doctor
as soon as possible.
Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children.
Only replace the battery with batteries of the same or an
equivalent type.
Never try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Risk of ex-
plosion!
Never expose the batteries to excessive heat (such as direct
sunlight, fire or similar).
Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Strong direct heat can da-
mage batteries. Do not expose the device to sources of inten-
se heat.
Never short-circuit batteries.
Remove leaking batteries from the device immediately. Clean
the contacts before inserting new batteries. Battery acid can
cause chemical burns!
Always remove flat batteries from the device.
If the device is not going to be used for long periods, remove
