PROBLEM
CAUSE
Fluid adj. knob (12) closed.
SPRAY GUN
Tip hole of nozzle obstructed.
DOES NOT SPRAY
Needle packing too thighten.
Air escapes from fluid nozzle (5) and
tapered seat of gun body.
INTERMITTENT
Air escapes from fluid passages because
SPRAY PATTERN
O'ring is worn out.
Air escapes from fluid hose joint.
Dirty nozzle (5) or air cap set (2).
Nozzle (5) or air cap (2) has been damaged.
Fluid nozzle (5) is loose or not property
fitted.
DEFECTIVE
Release agent viscosity too high or too

low.
Release agent output too high or too low.
Fluid nozzle (5), needle set (5-1) or gun
body, dirty, damaged or worn on seat.
Fluid nozzle (5) and gun body are loose.
Fluid needle (5-1) set is loose.
Fluid neeedle spring (10) is worn.
LEAKING
Needle packing set (6) dirty or too tighten. Check or adjust.
Needle packing set (6) worn or too loose.
Piston set (9) is dirty.
Piston O'ring is worn.

Remove fluid nozzle (5) air cap (2), air cap packing (3), and
cover ring (4).
CAUTION!
REMEDY
Check and adjust it.
Check and clean it.
Check and adjust it.
Check , clean & replace if
necessary.
Replace O'ring.
Tighten.
Clean carefully.
Replace if damaged.
Tighten or remove and clean its
seated section.
Dilute paint or increase vis-
cosity.
Adjust fluid adj. knob (12) to
reduce or increase.
Clean & replace if necessary.
Tighten.

(5).
Packings and O'rings.
Leakage from seat section between fluid nozzle
(5) and piston (5-1).
