5.4 Switching off the HasciSE
To switch off the backhand scanner please use the following button:
"Scanner button" (hold for approx. four seconds)
The status LED goes out as soon as the back hand scanner is switched off.

5.5 Suspend mode
To extend its runtime, the HasciSE features a power saving mode (Suspend) as a standard feature. In
Suspend mode the proximity sensor is deactivated and LED behavior is adjusted. If the user would like to
leave this mode again, simply pressing the scanner key once is sufficient.
The device only enters Suspend mode if none of the following conditions have been detected within 10
minutes:

Detection of a weak battery

Scanning a barcode

Key being pressed
If the HasciSE remains in Suspend mode for longer than 30 minutes, the device is automatically shut down
for security reasons.
The time until the device goes into Suspend mode can be configured and/or deactivated (see section 0
Configuration).
5.6 Actuators: Status LED, vibration motor and loudspeaker
The actuators of the backhand scanner are described below.

Status LED pulses white every five seconds:
The device is turned on but not connected yet.

Status LED pulses blue every five seconds:
The device is turned on and connected with an opposite device via Bluetooth.

Status LED flashes white or blue at ten-second intervals (depending on the connection status of
the backhand scanner):
The device is in Suspend mode.

Status LED flashes alternately red and white or red and blue at intervals of two and a half
seconds (depending on the connection status of the backhand scanner):
The battery charge state is critical.

Status LED lights up green once, the vibration motor vibrates and the loudspeaker sounds
briefly:
A barcode was successfully read and transmitted via Bluetooth to the opposite device.
