Before the recorded results can be transferred from the USB
stick to the PC the required software must be installed on the
PC. The software is available on the USB stick.
Once the USB stick is connected to the PC, the software can be
started. Select "Import test results file" from the drop-down menu and
select the corresponding drive. Multiple test results can be imported
after the target drive has been selected.
To open individual test results select "Open a test results file". Once
downloaded further information can be added:
Location of measurement,
Date of next test (or hours run on HP compressors),
Test engineer and relevant address.

This information can also be recorded as default.
For each "test" you will need to confirm whether the recorded test
volume and pressure was sufficient for the tested air system. Select
"Pass" or "Fail" as appropriate.

In addition, there is the option of entering "N/A" against these
categories. In this case, the test certificate will only validate
the air quality excluding pressure and flow.
Then save the test results file. A test certificate can be printed. The
Logo stored on the startup display automatically appears on the test
certificate.
Please observe the country-specific valid legal regulations regarding
the legal obligation to retain test results.

Maintenance

The Dräger Aerotest 5000 is calibrated by Dräger according to the
intended use. We recommend that an annual inspection of the
calibration and a required readjustment be carried out by Dräger.

Transportation

The Dräger Aerotest 5000 is transported in a hard weatherproof case.
The Dräger Aerotest 5000 can also be removed from the case and
used as a standard device.

Storage

Store all parts in a dry, cool and dust-free place. Protect from exposure
to direct sunlight and heat. Store Dräger-Tubes safely out of reach
from unauthorised persons.

Disposal

EC-wide regulations for the disposal of electrical and
electronic appliances which have been defined in the EC
Directive 2002/96/EC and in national laws are effective from
August 2005 and apply to this device. Common household
appliances can be disposed of using special collecting and
recycling facilities. However, as this device has not been
registered for household usage, it must not be disposed of
through these means. The device can be returned to your
national Dräger Sales Organisation for disposal. Please do
not hesitate to contact the above if you have any further
questions on this issue.
