ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read these safety instructions before use and
keep them carefully.
! - This symbol indicates the risk of injury or damage
to the device.
! Failure to follow the instructions in this manual may
result in injury.
! The device complies with valid technical regulations
and standards.
This device is suitable as a compressed air supply for
tire inflators, blow guns and with appropriate atta-
chments for inflating balloons, etc. Use the product
only as described and for the specified applications.
Keep these instructions in a safe place. When you
pass this product on to other people, please include
all documents with it. Any other use than intended is
prohibited and may be dangerous. Damages caused
by failure to follow the instructions or incorrect use are
not covered by the warranty and the manufacturer is
not responsible for them. This device is intended for
domestic use and must not be used for commercial or
industrial purposes.
The compressor is not intended for continuous use
or unlimited commercial use and may only be used
in dry rooms. The compressed air produced is not
suitable as breathing air. Use in an explosive environ-
ment and aiming the compressed air gun at people is
prohibited.
Residual risks
Even with the correct use of this device, there always
remains a certain residual risk that cannot be exclu-
ded. The type and design of equipment may include
the following potential hazards:
- User forgets to use hearing protection.
- The user opens the valve without the device being
connected to the air hose.
- Compressed air is aimed at people or animals.
- Animal particles of dirt and dust enter the eyes or
face.
- Electric shock when touching non-insulated electri-
cal components.
Failure to follow the instructions in the operating
instructions may result in other residual risks due to
improper use.
Warning: Actual vibration emissions during use may
differ from the vibration indicated in the manufactu-
rer's operating instructions. This may be due to the
following influencing factors, which must be conside-
red before or during each use:
- Is the device being used correctly?
- Is it the right type of material to work with?
- Is the equipment in proper working order?
- Are handles or optional vibrating handles installed
and properly attached to the equipment?
If you feel discomfort or a change in the color of the
skin on your hands during use, stop working immedia-
tely. Take appropriate breaks. Failure to take ade-
quate breaks can result in Hand Vibration Syndrome.
You should judge the usage factor according to the
work or use of the equipment and take appropriate
breaks. This will significantly reduce the utilization
factor during work. Minimize your exposure to vibrati-
on. Maintain the device according to the instructions
in the user manual. If the device is used more often,
contact a special dealer and, if necessary, purchase
anti-vibration accessories (handles).
Do not use the device at temperatures t = 5 °C or lo-
wer. Develop a procedure that limits vibration stress.
A certain amount of noise pollution from this equip-
ment cannot be avoided. Move noisy work to appro-
ved and set times. Depending on the jurisdiction,
observe the time off and limit work time to the most
necessary. Hearing protection should be used for
your personal protection and the protection of those
around you.
Switch off the compressed air supply during mainte-
nance.
Use the device only in the areas of use for which it
was designed!
Do not overload the device. Never use hydrogen,
oxygen, carbon dioxide or other pressurized gasses
to power this tool as this could result in an explosion
causing serious injury.
Maintain and clean the device regularly according to
the instructions (see chapter „Cleaning/Care").
Never use gasoline or other flammable liquids to
clean the air tool! Sparks could ignite residual vapors
inside the compressed air equipment, leading to an
explosion of the compressed air equipment.
Always use the handle to move the device. Never
touch the device itself!
ATTENTION! The casing of the compressor may
heat up during use. To avoid burns, do not touch hot
surfaces.¬
Never leave the device unattended when it is swit-
ched on. The accumulated heat generated by the
device can be a source of danger. This compressor
is equipped with overheating protection. If the motor
reaches a temperature of 130 °C, the overheating
protection switches it off automatically. This will allow
the engine to cool down and prevent damage. Once
the engine cools down, it starts automatically. This
break is normal and its purpose is to protect the
engine. This process will be repeated every time the
engine reaches 130°C again. Use only indoors.
WARNING! The compressor can start without war-
ning!
Disconnect the compressed air equipment from the
air supply after each use and when not in use. Do
not use compressed air equipment if it is leaking or in
need of repair.
Keep the workplace clean and well lit. Mess and
insufficient workplace lighting can result in accidents.
Keeping it clean and well lit will give you better control
of your equipment, especially in unforeseen circum-
stances.¬
Only have the device repaired by qualified specialists
who use original spare parts. This will keep the device
secure.
