Always wash your hands before and after handling uncooked meat and before eating.
•
Always keep raw meat away from cooked meat and other foods.
•
Before cooking ensure grill surfaces and tools are clean and free of old food residues.
•
DO NOT use the same utensils to handle cooked and uncooked foods.
•
Ensure all meat is cooked thoroughly before eating.
•
CAUTION: eating raw or undercooked meat can cause food poisoning (e.g. bacteria strains such as E.coli).
•
To reduce the risk of undercooked meat cut open to ensure it is cooked all the way through.
•
CAUTION: if the meat has been cooked sufficiently, its juices should be clear and there should be no traces of pink/red juice or meat colouring.
•
Pre-cooking larger pieces of meat and joints is recommended before finally cooking on the grill.
•
After cooking on your grill always clean the cooking surfaces and utensils.
USING PANS AND POTS
One of the grill grates features a circular cut-out to place a pot or pan instead of the provided circular grill grate. Any pot or pan with a diameter of 30 cm and a
maximum height of 10 cm might be used.
WARNING! Danger of burns!
Never attempt to remove the circular grill grate or the pot or pan during operation. Consider this option before you start grilling.
WARNING! Risk of explosion!
Do not let the pot or pan bottom touch any part of the appliance. Ensure sufficient airflow between pot or pan bottom and burner. An obstructed burner
is not working within its intended pressures and may result in explosion.
WARNING!
Ensure the pot or pan you want to use can handle the extreme heat generated within this appliance. Some parts like coatings, handles or lids may not
be suitable for high temperatures. Consult the manufacturer of the pot or pan in doubt.
