3. Placegrasscatcheron the pivot rod.Let go of dischargedoor so
that it restson the grasscatcher.See Figure4.
To removethegrass catcher,lift the reardischargedooron the
mower.Lift the grasscatcherup,off of the pivot rod.Releasethe rear
dischargedoor.
CONVERTING TO SIDE DISCHARGE
To convertto sidedischarge,makesuregrasscatcheris off of the unit.
Replacetherear mulchingbaffleand close rear dischargedoor.To
dischargegrassto the side:
1. Lift mulchingplug on the rightside of mower.
2. Slide two hooksof side dischargechute underthe hingepin on
the mulchingplug assemblyand lowerthe side mulchingplug.
See Figure5.
NOTE:Do notremovethe sidemulchingplugat any time,evenwhen
youare notmulching.
CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
The cuttingheightadjustmentleveris
locatedabovethe rear left wheel.
See Figure6.
1. Pull the leverout and awayfrom the
mower.
2. Movethe leverforwardor back for
desiredcuttingheight.
3. Releaselevertowardsmowerdeck.
Do not at anytime makeany adjustmentto lawnmowerwithoutfirst
stoppingmotorand removingkey.
