CHARGING THE BATTERY
The drill/driver is supplied with a partly charged battery. The battery must be charged at ambient
temperature in the range of 4
will reach its full capacity after about 4-5 charging cycles.
● Take out the battery (7) from the drill/driver (fig. A).

After the battery has been placed in the charger, the diodes (11) will illuminate in a different arrangement
(see the description below).

o
If the battery becomes too hot (above 45
(as indicated by quickly flashing red diode), take the battery out of the charger, wait about 30
minutes, and put it back in the charger. This situation is very unlikely and may never occur.
During charging, the battery becomes very hot. Do not use the battery immediately after charging;
wait until the temperature of the battery drops to room temperature. This will prevent damage to
the battery
BATTERY CHARGING LEVEL INDICATION
The drill/driver is provided with a system that indicates the battery charging level (LED). In order to check
the battery charging level, press the charging level indication button (13) (fig. C). If all diodes are on (14),
the battery charging level is high. If the red and yellow diodes are on, the battery is partly discharged. If only
the red diode is on, the charging level is low and the battery must be charged.
