Wind vane installation
Slide the wind vane (1) onto the shaft on top of the sensor until it stops. Tighten the fastening screw with a screwdriver (size
PH0) until the wind vane is securely fastened to the axle.
Make sure the wind vane spins freely. The slight friction in the movement helps to precisely measure wind direction.
The vane has letters around it: N (North), E (East), S (South) and W (West). The wind vane (1) should be set up so that
the directions on the sensor correspond to your actual location. A permanent error in wind direction readings is possible
if the sensor is not set up properly.
Wind speed sensor installation
Place the wind speed sensor (2) onto the shaft. Tighten the fastening screw. Make sure the wind speed sensor spins freely.
Rain gauge installation
Install the rain gauge (5) and position the indicator along the straight line.
Batteries installation
Insert 2 AA batteries into the battery compartment (9). The LED indicator on the back of the transmitter blinks every
16 seconds (sensor data transmission refresh period).
