TROUBLESHOOTING
First check all cables for proper connection. Use this table to remedy the problem. Contact
your dealer if the problem persists.
Symptom
No Power
CD cannot be loaded or
ejected
No sound
Distorted sound
Buttons do not respond
The radio does not work
Auto scan does not work
Reason
Ignition is switched off.
Fuse is blown.
A CD is already loaded.
CD inserted upside down.
CD very dirty or scratched.
Temperature too high.
Condensation.
Volume set to minimum.
Cable not correct connected. Check wiring.
Installation angle greater than
30 degrees.
CD very dirty or scratched.
Integrated microcomputer
mafunctions.
Antenna cable not connected. Connect antenna cable.
Signals are too weak.

Remedy
Turn the ignition on.
Replace the fuse.
Eject the disc and insert a new
CD.
Insert the disc with the label
up.
Clean the CD or load a differ-
ent CD.
Let the car cool down until the
ambient temperature is nor-
mal.
Leave the unit turned off for
approx. 1 hour and try again.
Set the volume to the desired
level.
The angle must be less than
30 degrees.
Clean the CD or load a differ-
ent CD.
Press RESET. Front panel not
properly attached.
Select station manually.
