INSTALLATION
Tips:
• Select a mounting position in which the
unit does not interfere with the normale
driving operation
• Connect all electric cables before the final
installation and check for proper function.
• Use only supplied accessories for correct
installation. The use of unauthorized parts
can cause malfunctions.
• Contact your dealer if holes have to be
drilled or other modification to the vehicle
are necessary.
• Install the unit in a position, where it
does not interfere with the driver and
passengers cannot be injured during
emergency braking.
• Do not install the unit in an angle
greater than 30°; this can cause loss of
performance.
• Do not install the unit in close proximity to
high temperatures, such as direct sunlight
or heater ducts, dusty, dirty or vibrating
positions.
INSTALLATION
This unit can be properly installed either from
"front" (conventional DIN front-mount) or
"rear" (DIN rear-mount installation, utilizing
threaded screw holes at the sides of the unit
chassis).
For details, refer to the following illustrated
installation methods.
