• TA-SEEK: SEEK/ALARM
a) TA SEEK mode:
If a new station does not broadcast TP
information for more than 5 seconds the
radio automatically tunes into the next sta-
tion with different Pl but same TP informa-
tion. If the current station temporarily loos-
es TP information and this stations is set
to RETUNE SHORT or RETUNE LONG,
then the radio tunes into the next station
with same Pl. If no Pl station is found after
one tuning cycle, then the radio tunes into
the next station with TP information.
Note: In TA SEEK mode the current sta-
tion can be replaced with a different sta-
tion, since the radio scans for a TP station
as soon as field signal or signal strength
are weak or the current station has no TP
signal (TP has higher priority than PI).
b) TA ALARM mode:
This mode deactivates automatic tuning.
A long dual beep tone sounds (ALARM).
This keeps the current station in this mode
(PI has higher priority than TP). The beep
tones sound if a new station does not
broadcast TP information for more than 5
seconds. If the current station temporarily
looses TP information the beep tone stops.
"PI SEEK" is repressed if a new station
has no ANS signal.
• MASK: DPI/ALL
MASK DPI mode: Marks only AF with dif-
ferent Pl (DPI). Mask ALL mode: Marks all
AF with different Pl and no ANS signal with
high field strength.
