Protective guard assembly
• Open the clamp lever and align the protruding parts inside the protective guard.
Push the protective guard downward until the protruding parts engage and rotate
freely with the corresponding slots on the shaft cover.
• With the clamp lever open, rotate the protective guard to the desired working
position.
• Secure it by pushing the clamp lever.

Disc assembly
1. Attach the inner flange to the shaft.
2. Place the disc on the inner flange.
3. Put the outer flange on the shaft.
• Press the shaft lock on the grinder head.
4. Screw the outer flange with the two-pronged wrench until it
is securely fixed.
DANGER
•The shaft lock should only be used to change discs,
never to stop the disc while it is rotating.
• Always use flanges in perfect condition, of the correct size according
to the shape of the selected disc.
• A flange with the correct characteristics supports the disc, reducing the
possibility of disc breakage. Flanges for cutting discs may be different from
flanges for grinding discs.
• The grinding surface of depressed center discs should be installed below
the plane of the guard.
• A poorly installed disc can project burrs beyond the plane of the guard
and cannot be adequately protected.
Auxiliary handle assembly
• For safe operation, use the auxiliary handle. Place it in one of the
three holes for mounting it, making it easier for you to work.
