4. Setting up the aquarium
The aquarium can be placed directly on a sufficiently stable cabinet or desk. Before setting up the aquarium,
please ensure that the load-bearing capacity of the base is sufficient for the entire filled system. The base must
be level and horizontal. It must not give way under load. The contact surface between the glass base and the
surface of the base cabinet must be free of any kind of contamination.
The aquarium is cleaned with clear water before taking it into operation.

5.1. Pump installation and water level adjustment
Firstly, remove the cover of the filter chamber. The best way to do this is to press lightly on the right or left
outside of the cover and lift it slightly on the opposite side (see Fig. 1). It can then be gripped and removed from
there.
To clean the filter cover, it must always be removed! If you wipe the pane that is still in place with a cloth,
it can be damaged if you press it down sideways in an uncontrolled manner.
