length pull the shoulder strap attachment up. You must
lock the clamp buckle again afterwards (A1). The shoul-
der strap anchor point should ideally be positioned bet-
ween the shoulder blades. The shoulder padding then
fits comfortably around the shoulders (A2).
ADJUSTING THE CARRIER SYSTEM
Undo the hip strap (11), the load positioning straps (7)
and shoulder straps (6). Put the carrier on your shoul-
ders. Close the hip strap and pull it tight. The hip strap
should be positioned on the top of the pelvis. Pull the
shoulder straps tight and close the chest strap (15). Now
you tighten the load positioning strap. The carrier will lift
off the shoulder area at the back and thus be less of a
load (A3). It is important that the back length is adjusted
properly beforehand. If you don't find the right length
straight away, repeat the process until you do.
PLEASE NOTE:
The child carrier is designed for one person to adjust it,
put the child in it and put the carrier on their back. In-
18
experienced users should get help from another person
when adjusting the carrier and putting it on their back.

B) ADJUSTING SEAT HEIGHT AND
STRAPPING THE CHILD IN
VIDEO
Please be careful when adjusting straps and seat
height. Before your first trip make sure that your child
sits securely and comfortably in the carrier and that all
buckles are done up properly. Make sure that the carrier
stands securely when you put the child down.
PREPARING THE CARRIER
First fold out the support base until it locks into place
(B1). Put the carrier on the floor facing you. Loosen the
side straps (3) and both straps of the child safety strap
evenly (1). You adjust the length of the child safety strap
using the slide buckle in the front pocket (B2). Open the
side strap and then the child safety strap.
ADJUSTING SEAT HEIGHT AND PUTTING
THE CHILD INTO THE CARRIER
Once you have prepared the carried and locked it into
position you adjust the height of the seat using the
height adjustment mechanism (9). It's a good idea to
first use your visual judgment to adjust the height.
To raise the seat (for a smaller child), loosen the bottom
slide buckle (B3), and tighten the upper glide buckle un-
til you reach the desired height. Then you tighten the
bottom slide buckle.
To lower the seat (for a bigger child), do the same in re-
verse order.
As a basic principle: never adjust the height of the seat
when the child is in the carrier. The height of the seat is
right when the child can moved its arms freely and can
look around.
