7.2 CHARGERS
• Never attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Have defective cords replaced immediately.
• Do not expose to water.
• Do not open the charger.
• Do not probe the charger.
• The charger is intended for indoor use only.
7.3 BATTERY CHARGING
The battery must be charged before first use. The battery will only attain full capacity
after several charge and discharge cycles.
Only use the provided adapter to charge the battery set.
Only charge the battery set when the ambient temperature is within 10° - 40 °C.
Plug the adaptor into a 230 V alternating voltage source.
The battery should under no circumstances be disassembled.
To remove the battery, press the battery release button on the top side of the battery set
and extract the battery.
Connect the plug of the charger to the loading socket of the battery set.
The red LED will light once the battery has been connected to the charger and the
charging procedure will proceed.
The battery set is completely loaded and ready for use once the green LED is lit and the
red LED is OFF – after approximately 3 hours.
Defective or used battery sets must be disposed of in specialised
refuse, and must not be placed in domestic refuse.

8. REPLACEMENT OF ABRASIVE DISCS
WARNING: Always remove the battery from the machine before replacing
the abrasive disc
Keep the locking button (1) pressed and loosen the tightening nut with the enclosed spanner.
Remove the tightening nut and the abrasive disc from the tightening shaft.
When inserting a new abrasive disk make sure that it is seated correctly on the tightening
flange.
Retighten the tightening nut, making sure that the abrasive disc is not damaged in this process.
Before commencing work, try the machine and check to make sure that the disc is rotating
correctly.
