Under no circumstances should the
 
trimmer be used without the protection
shield (see Figures 1 and 2), under the
risk of power loss and motor burning,
besides ensuring the safety of the
operator during handling.
The protection shield is responsible for
 
delimiting the action area of the nylon,
according to the capacity of the motor.
Thus, without it, the nylon advances and
its length increases.
At every "extra" nylon centimeter,
 
the motor loses 300 rpm of power in
rotation, generating an overload and
causing the unit burn.

Warning!
All and every maintenance or cleaning shall
be done with the equipment turned off and
unplugged.
Installation of the protection device
Before switching on and using the lawn
 
mower/trimmer, install the protection device.
TRAPP lawn mowers/trimmers are already
 
assembled when delivered with the exception
of the protection device. It is conditioned
together with the equipment in the same
package. To assemble it, turn the lawn mower/
trimmer upwards (Fig. 3).
Place the protection device as per drawing,
 
and fit it in lock (3) (Fig. 4). Press it to the body
(4), put screws (2) in position and tighten
them (Fig. 3).
If you use the equipment without the
 
protection device, you will not be entitled to
the warranty.
