3.5 FITTING THE CONTROL BOX
Install the control box in a non-submersible place,
protected from frost and humidity.
The alarm signal must always be visible to the user.
3.6 HYDRAULIC CONNECTION
Connect the outlet to a pipe or duct with an
external diameter of 40 mm and a minimum
internal diameter of 25 mm.
3.7 OPTION OF CONNECTION TO AN
EXTERNAL ALARM
Option of externalising the alarm signal. Dry
contact (no voltage) NO (normally open) operated
by a relay.
Alarm contact can be connected to a powered
system (250 V and 16 A max.). This contact closes
as soon as the control box is in alarm mode and
remains closed as long as the alarm sounds.
3.8 ELECTRIC CONNECTION
Only
connections
hydraulic connections have been completed.
Rainkit Sanisub 800 is powered by the control box.
• Connect the pump and float alarm cables to the
control box as shown on page 9. Observe the cable
colours on the slots.
• Connect the control box to the power supply:
The device's power supply must be connected to
ground (class I), protected by a high sensitivity
differential circuit breaker (30 mA). Devices
without plugs must be connected to a main switch
on the power supply which disconnects all poles
(contact separation distance of at least 3 mm).
The connection must be used exclusively to
provide the power to the control box. If the cord of
this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its after-sales service in order to
avoid any danger to users.
3.9 CABLE FASTENING
Cables (pumps, alarm float) must
not interfere with float movements.
They must not be able to come into contact with
the strainer or the pump impeller.
Keep the pump supply cables attached to the
pipes using the clamps supplied.
