OPERATING MODE
The "TRIP" meter can be set to zero.
Total meter
• The metter is fitted with a "TOTAL" meter (lower digit
line), which shows the accumulated fluid volume released
since the meter was put into operation for the first time.
The "TOTAL" meter cannot be reset.
• When the meter is in dispensing mode, it will display the
partial meter in the upper digit line and it will show the
"TOTAL" or "TRIP" measurement in the lower digit line.
Press SELECT button for alternating between "TOTAL"
and "TRIP" modes.
CALIBRATION
The meter is factory calibrated and usually does not need
calibration for common grease used in the workshop.
Nevertheless, if it is used with fluids that have different
properties than those detailed in the "TECHNICAL
CALIBRATION CAPACITY
After the calibration process, you will obtain a precision
within the range of +-2% for fluids and conditions detailed in
the "TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS" section. If the meter
exceeds this range, it may be due to the following causes:
CALIBRATION PROCEDURE
The meter calibration can be done through a semi-automatic
process in which the user releases the fluid into a calibrated
container or calibrated scale. Moreover, this meter allows
modifying directly the calibration factor by the user. This option
is useful when you know the calibration factor.
From the "SETUP" menu, you can access the calibration
modes and the submenu for selecting the measurement units

Follow the instructions in the EQUIPMENT HANDLING
section (1 ON/RESET).
• The total meter does not consider the quantities released
during the calibration process. The changes in the
calibration factor do not affect the value stored in the total
meter.
Automatic meter reset
The partial meter is reset to zero when reaching the value

very low flows, calibration may be necessary.
The calibration could be needed also after a long period of
use, especially if it works with traces of dirt in the fluid.
Verify the meter precision before use calibrate if necessary.

and SELECT buttons at the same time, for 5 seconds (Fig. 13).
After that, the lower line will show by default a blinking text,
"CAL" (Fig. 14). Through the SELECT button (Fig. 15) it will
alternate between the different calibration modes, "CAL" and

(Fig. 16) and the measurement units submenu, "UNITS". To
select the calibration mode desired, press ON/RESET button
(Fig. 17) once it is blinking in the screen.
