To switch
on/off
the alarm

To enable the alarm mode, press key "B" when
the monitor is in heart rate mode. The alarm
icon is displayed in the bottom left corner. The
heart rate computer now signals:
• with one beep per second that your heart rate
is below the exercise zone you have set;
• with two beeps per second that your heart
rate is above the exercise zone you have set;
• with four beeps per second that your current
heart rate is 99% or more of your MHR.
B
Press key "B" to switch off the alarm. The alarm
icon disappears.
If your heart rate is 99% or more of your MHR,
an alarm is sounded (4 beeps per second) to
warn you. If you follow the warning you reduce
your risk of injury.
If the alarm is not enabled (no alarm icon dis-

played), only a visual warning occurs (% of MHR
blinks). There is no audible warning if the MHR
is exceeded!
