WARNING

Media escaping under pressure can cause injuries.

Only carry out installation work when the
system is depressurised.

For retrofi tting an existing system: Drain the
system or shut off the supply pipes of the
system section and depressurise the system
section.

Wear safety goggles.
CAUTION
Risk of injury on hot or cold components and
surfaces!
!
Wear suitable protective clothing to avoid
unprotected contact with hot or cold fi ttings
and system components.
!
If necessary, wait until the product has
approximately reached the ambient
temperature before working on it.
NOTICE
Damage to property due to lubricants!
Seals can be destroyed by the use of greases or oils.

Do not use greases or oils during mounting.
!
If necessary, fl ush dirt particles and grease and
oil residues out of the pipework.
!
When selection the operating medium, observe
the current state of the art.
!
If the operating medium is contaminated, install
a strainer in the supply pipe.
•
The installation position is basically arbitrary.
Make sure that the product and pipework are free from
contamination.
Install the product free of tension.
Make sure that the product remains easily accessible.

Install the three-way valve in the pipework.

Screw the three-way valve on tightly.

Commissioning

Filling, venting and checking for
leaks

Fill the heating system.

Vent the heating system.
3
Carry out a leak test according to DIN EN 1264.

8. Dismantling and disposal
When the product reaches the end of its service life or has
an irreparable defect, it must be dismantled and disposed
of in an environmentally friendly manner or the
components must be recycled.

Incorrect disposal can lead to environmental
damage.

Dispose of packaging materials in an
environmentally friendly manner.
!
If possible, recycle the components.
!
Dispose of non-recycable components
according to local regulations.
