Safety Signs

Avoid accidents by always following the safety
instructions given in the user manual and on the safety
signs placed on the machine
Warning signs with symbols without text may be found
on the machine. The symbols are explained below.
• This is a safety alert sign and
means: Attention! Risk of
personal injury.
• Read the user manual carefully
and observe the warning texts in
the user manual and on the
machine.
• Rotating parts must only be
touched when they are at a
complete standstill.
• Always stop the blower prior
to repair and maintenance and
make sure that the blower
cannot be started by mistake.

Application
The high-pressure blowers type TRL are designed
for use in connection with pneumatic conveying
installations, but the blowers are also well suited for
many other pneumatic purposes.
The high-pressure blowers type TRL 55/100/150/200/
300/500 are equipped with air intake regulators.

They are therefore particularly well suited for
conveying purposes. The intake regulator maintains
a uniform air volume, even when the back pressure
varies during operating. This ensures that the

air velocity in a Kongskilde OK 160 pipe system
constantly is approx. 25 m/sec. (56 mph), which is
suitable for many pneumatic conveying purposes.
The TRL blowers must not be used for conveying in
cases where the air is corrosive, inflammable or in
danger of explosion. The air, which is to be sucked into
the blower, must not be warmer than the surrounding
temperatures (up to app. 35°C / 95°F).
The TRL blowers are not designed for air containing
big quantities of dust or sticky "steam" which can stick
to the rotor of the blower.

No materials must be allowed to pass through the
blower, as it can damage the rotor of the blower.
The pipe to be fitted directly to the blower outlet
must always be attached by means of the special
safety clamp supplied with the blower (see also
under "Installation").
