The blowers TRL 20/40 must normally not be operated
without the use of a venturi. Otherwise, the motor can
be overloaded. The venture can however be left out
if the air capacity of the blower is limited in a way that
the rated current of the motor is not exceeded.
Installation
Be careful when moving the blower. Always use strap
or similar fixed to the lifting point on the base frame,
when lifting the big blowers TRL 300 and TRL 500.
Alternatively, use a fork-lifter grabbing under the base
frame of the blower.
Mount the blower on a solid and plane base. Allow
during installation for easy access for repair and
maintenance. See that the access for cooling air to the
room housing the blower is sufficient.
See that there is sufficient access for fresh air to the
room, from which the blower takes the suction air.
The blower is designed for indoor use. In cases where
the blower is placed outside, always protect is from fall
by using a cover.
Mounting pipe system for blower
Always secure pipes mounted directly on the blower
outlet by using clamps with bolts in a way that the
pipes cannot be removed without tools. Always use the
special safety clamp delivered with the blower. Never
use quick release clamps on the blower outlet.

The pipe attached to the blower outlet must have
a length of minimum 800mm, with a diameter of
maximum 200 mm, in order to prevent the possibility
for coming in contact with the blower/rotary valve rotor
when the pipe is mounted.
Min 800 mm
Mount a pipe without joints with a length of minimum
800 mm on the blower outlet.
Wiring
Check that the local mains supply meets the electrical
equipment specification of the blower.
All electrical installations must be effected according to
the current legislation.
In cases where the blower is delivered with blower
control box from the factory, a control diagram is
placed inside the blower control box.
Rotation of the blower rotor is clockwise when viewed
from the suction side. Failure to do this will drastically
reduce capacity.
Please note that the blowers TRL 20/40 (50Hz) and
TRL 30/50 (60Hz) normally must not be operated
without the use of a venturi. Otherwise, the motor can
be overloaded. The venturi can however be left out if
the air capacity of the blower is limited in a way that
the rated current of the motor is not exceeded. (see
type plate on motor).
