UNPACKING AND REMOVING SHIPPING BOLTS
when removingthe washer from the carton base, be
sure to removethe foam tub support in the middle of the
carton base.
If you must lay the washer down to removethe base
packaging materials,always lay it carefullyon its side. Do
NOT lay the washer on its front or back.
IMPORTANT:To prevent internaldamage during transport,
the washer is equipped with 4 shipping bolts and plastic
retainers.These bolts and retainers MUST be removed
before operatingthe washer.
• Failureto removeshipping bolts and retainersmay cause
severevibration and noise, which can leadto permanent
damageto the washer.The cord is secured to the back of
the washerwith a shippingbolt to help prevent operation
with shippingbolts in place.

Starting with the bottom 2 shipping bolts,
use the included wrench to remove the
4 shipping bolts by turning them
counterclockwise.

Remove the retainers by turning them slightly
while pulling. Rotate and press the hole caps
into the shipping bolt holes.
NOTE: Save the bolts and retainers for
future use. To prevent damage to internal
components, the shipping bolts and
retainers must be installed when
transporting the washer.
Removing the Protective Film
The top, sides, and front of the washer are covered
with a protective vinyl film. This film is to protect
the finish during shipping, and should be removed
before use.
Once the protective film has been removed, transfer
the Service Call Number label from the top film to an
easy to find location on the side of the washer.
