First chop garlic, herbs or zest. Then
cut butter or cheese into tablespoon
size pieces. Add ingredients into the
bowl and process until smooth; if
necessary, add liquids last.
Follow directions for a 1-egg recipe
using pasteurized liquid egg products
or substitutes. Add oil via the feed
tube. Remember to follow proper
food safety procedures.
Add up to 1.5 cups of peanuts or
other nuts into the bowl. First, pulse to
chop, and then process continuously
until ingredients form a ball. Fresh
nut butters contain no additional oils,
sugar or salt unless you choose to
add them. For chunkier butter, add a
handful of nuts while processing.
Add up to 1 cup of chilled cream into
the bowl and process until it reaches
desired thickness. Add sugar after
processing for 30 seconds to sweeten
the cream.
Use a vegetable peeler to remove
zest from fresh, washed and dried
citrus, while leaving the bitter white
pith on the fruit, and then cut them
into smaller pieces. Add ingredients
into the bowl with sugar or salt from
recipe and pulse to chop until zest
achieves desired texture.
