11. The tool model must be chosen in compliance with the established use. Do not force your equip-
ment excessively. If required, acquire a more suitable tool for the application. This will increase the
effi ciency and safety in the work;
12. Never use your tool with your weight on it, forcing the equipment;
13. Do not make holes on power cords, gas or water pipes. Contact with water or electric wires may
cause electric shock. The electric motor of the tool generates sparks which in contact with fl ammab-
le gases may cause an explosion;
14. Fastening of the part: to avoid accidents, always fasten the part properly before starting drilling,
especially small parts. If required, use clamps;
15. Use your tool only for the purpose it was designed, according to the intended use described in this
manual. Do not use it for other purposes;
16. Do not expose your power tool to rain or wet conditions. Contact with water will increase the risk
of electrical shock;
17. Remove all adjustment tools before turning your equipment on. A tool or part stuck in moving of the
equipment may cause serious injuries;
18. Avoid touching the tip of the drill right after the drilling because it may be hot.
Workplace and Point of Use:
- Keep the place clean, tidy and illuminated;
- In order to avoid distractions and accidents, after using your tool, isolate the workplace to prevent
access of visitors, children or animals;
- Power outlet must be compatible to the tool plug. To reduce the risk of shock, do not change the plug
characteristics and do not use adapters. If required, replace the outlet with a plug suitable model.
