– The two wooden boards keep the saw buck stable and protect the chainsaw
from making contact with the ground. If the saw buck is no longer stable, for
example because the wooden boards have been damaged by cuts, etc., the
wooden boards must be replaced with genuine wolfcraft® spare parts.
– Only use genuine wolfcraft® spare parts.
– To protect the wooden boards from the elements, you can apply a wood stain
to them before the first use. Reapply the protective stain once a year.
– When not in use, collapse the saw buck and store it protected from rain,
moisture and UV radiation.
– The saw buck is not suitable for the long-term storage of logs.
– Before working, always open the saw buck as far as the folding guard will al-
low to ensure stability.
– Make sure that the wooden boards of the saw buck are always correctly
locked into place on the tubular frame.
– Do not use the saw buck as a step, ladder or support.
– Caution: The chainsaw blade length must be at least 33 cm!
– Caution: Always watch out for falling pieces of wood and maintain enough
of a safety distance to avoid injuries.
INTENDED USE
Use the saw buck to process logs with chainsaws in accordance with
DIN EN ISO 11681 and DIN EN 60745 and with hand saws.
The saw buck is suitable for sawing logs 1 m in length and up to 27.5 cm in dia-
meter. After sawing, the logs are 25 cm or 33 cm in length.
The logs must only be sawn parallel; angular cuts are not permitted. The stop bar
holds the logs securely in the saw buck.
Any use other than that intended shall be considered misuse.
REASONABLY FORESEEABLE MISUSE
Do not saw logs more than 1 m in length or 27.5 cm in diameter.
Do not saw round timber.
Do not make angular cuts.
Do not load the saw buck with more than 150 kg of logs.
Do not overfill the saw buck and do not saw logs without the stop bar in place.
Do not place pieces of wood on the ends of the tubular frame as the support area
is not sufficient to hold the wood securely.
The manufacturer does not accept any liability for property damage or personal in-
jury resulting from reasonably foreseeable misuse or from failure to observe the op-
erating instructions.
