ELECTRICIAN, IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE
APPLICABLE STANDARDS AND NATIONAL LAWS
AND/OR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
The standard models of the tyre changers have specific
electrical specifications 230 V, 1Ph, 50/60Hz, 16A
and are supplied according to the different power
supplies that they will be connected to (on request).
The electric motors operate with a voltage tolerance
equal to more or less 10%.
The power supply cable, which is always provided with
the machine, must be fitted with an adequately sized
type-approved plug, in compliance with the applicable
standards in the destination country.
The data plate on the cable (Fig. iii-1) shows the
iii-1
equipment main electrical specifications.
For the installation technician
The qualified electrician, when fitting a plug, must refer
to the data clearly set out on the plate found on the
machine electrical cable.
The user must ensure that the electrical system that the
machine is connected to is fitted with 20 A fuses (25
A for japan) or alternatively, an equivalent automatic
magneto-thermal switch.
Check that there is an efficient earthing system.
After the connection, press down the wheel support
rotation control pedal (1, Fig. iii-2) and check that it
rotates clockwise.
Check that the power supply system is fitted with an
automatic cut off device against overcurrents, with a
differential switch calibrated to 30 mA.
