2. BEFORE USE
-
This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out
of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other
packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when
transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all
packaging materials are recycled accordingly.

Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any
piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service
immediately.

Clean the iron's soleplate with a soft cloth.

Make sure you have read and understood all instructions and warnings in this instruction
manual. Pay particular attention to the safety instructions on previous pages.

Place the appliance on an even, heat-resistant surface. Do not place the device near heat
sources, places with high humidity levels, or flammable materials.

Plug the appliance into a power supply. The plug must be accessible so that, in case of an
emergency, it can be easily unplugged.

Note
You may notice a slight burning smell or smoke when using the product for the first time,
caused by the excess of lubricants from the manufacturing process. Smoke will disappear
after a short time.
3. OPERATION

Filling up the water tank
1.
Unplug the iron before filling up the water tank.
2.
Rest the iron on its heel rest, tilt it forward approximately 45º and fill the water tank up
to the MAX mark.
3.
Close the water tank cap, the fill-up opening must be closed while the iron is in operation.

Empty the water tank after each use.

Do not use chemically descaled or perfumed water.

Whenever you fill or empty the water tank, you must do so with the iron unplugged from
the mains. Do not exceed the "MAX" mark on the tank.

Do not use additives or add other liquids such as perfume, vinegar, starch, condensed water
from dryers or air conditioning systems, or chemicals, as this may damage the product.

This product is designed to work with tap water. However, to ensure optimal performance
for longer, you can mix tap water with distilled water in a 1:1 ratio. If water in your area is
very hard, the mixture of tap water and distilled water should be in a 1:2 ratio.
Temperature setting
Choose the right temperature according to the fabric you need to iron. It is recommended to
start ironing the fabric at a low temperature, and finally iron the fabric that needs the maximum
temperature.
