2. Cleaning comb: For removing stains on the brush roll. For filtering larger objects and hair from the wastewater.
3. Storage and cleaning unit: For storing the appliance and cleaning the brush rolls with the self-cleaning
function.
4. Storage box: For storing the brush roll, cleaning brush and cleaning concentrate. You can connect the storage box
to the side of the storage and cleaning unit (see Fig. I).
Storage
Store the appliance in a dry place and protect it from excessive heat or direct sunlight.
Cleaning and user maintenance
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock
Switch the appliance off and disconnect it from the mains before cleaning or user
maintenance.
Never hold the appliance or accessories under running water or immerse them in
water or other liquids.
Empty both tanks immediately after use to avoid accidental leakage.
Clean all parts from dirt directly after use
Allow all parts to dry completely before stowing to avoid the formation of bacteria or unpleasant odours.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads. They could damage the surface. Clean the housing
and accessories with a damp cloth if necessary.
Replace the sponge filter every 6 months.
Cleaning the fresh water tank
1. Press the release button on the main appliance and remove the fresh water tank.
2. Open the water inlet cap on the water tank and remove any water still contained.
3. Allow the tank to dry completely.
Clean the waste water tank and filter unit
1. Remove the waste water tank by pressing the release button down with your thumb and pulling out the waste
water tank at the same time (see Fig. J).
2. Remove the filter unit by pulling it upwards out of the tank (see Fig. K).
3. Remove the waste water from the tank.
4. If there is stubborn dirt on the inside wall of the tank, clean the tank with the cleaning brush or a cloth (see Fig. L).
5. Remove the filter and open the cover on the underside. Remove the sponge filter (see Fig. M).
6. Clean the waste water tank, filter unit, mesh filter and sponge filter thoroughly with clean water.
7. Check that the lower part of the filter unit can be moved easily. If not, clean the unit again.
8. After cleaning, allow all parts to dry completely, put the filter back in the filter unit and reattach the waste water
tank to the main unit.
