Before using for the first time
NOTE!
DANGER OF DAMAGE!
If you open the packaging carelessly with a sharp knife or other pointed objects, the appliance may be damaged.
Open very carefully.
„
1. Remove the appliance from the packaging.
2. Remove the packaging material and any labels on the product that are used for protection during transportation or
advertising.
3. Check that the delivery is complete.
4. Check whether there is any apparent damage to the appliance or its accessories. If this is the case, do not use the
appliance. Contact the service address given in the Customer Service section.
5. Fully charge the battery before using it for the first time.
Assemble / disassemble the appliance:
Insert the handle with rod into the corresponding opening at the top of the main appliance until it audibly clicks

into place.
To remove the handle, insert a needle or other tool into the small hole on the back of the shaft and simultaneously

pull the handle out in a vertical direction (see Fig. A).
Charging the battery
1. Place the machine upright, e.g. in the storage and cleaning unit. Make sure the appliance is switched off before
charging.
2. Insert the mains plug into the charging socket on the back of the appliance (see Fig. B).
3. Connect the main supply unit to a functioning socket.
It takes about 5 hours to fully charge the appliance.

During charging, the LED indicator on the On/Off switch lights up blue.

When the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator goes out.

Filling the fresh water tank
1. Remove the fresh water tank (upper tank) by pressing the release button on the main appliance above the tank
(see Fig. C).
2. Open the water inlet cap on the water tank and fill the tank with cold or lukewarm water up to max. 60°C (see Fig. D).
3. Close the cap on the water inlet (see Fig. E).
4. Replace the water tank until you hear it click into place (see Fig. F).
TIP: If necessary, a few drops of INVICTUS Floor Cleaner Concentrate or INVICTUS Carpet Cleaner Concentrate can be

added to the fresh water.
