PLUMBING CONNECTION
The module must be connected to several
connectors and an indirect cylinder that
are suitably sized according to its perfor-
mance, while observing the correct inlet
and outlet positions of the carrier fl uid.
Plumbing connections
The module is confi gured for quick-fi tting
of ø 18 mm copper pipes.
It is possible to eliminate the nut and fer-
rule and obtain a 3/4" M connection to be
used with undulated steel pipes.
The solar circuit piping must be construct-
ed in conformity to the EN 12975 standard,
using a material approved for use on so-
lar heating systems. We recommend the
use of copper or stainless steel pipes, with
metal-to-metal seal fi ttings.
Welded connections must be made using
brazing alloys.
The materials and fi ttings used must be re-
sistant to high temperatures (up to 200ºC),
to the carrier fl uid and to atmospheric
agents.
Connecting the expansion vessel (optional)
To ensure the correct operation of the sys-
tem, it is necessary to install an expansion
vessel with adequate characteristics for
the solar circuit, both in terms of volume
and materials used.
The module is confi gured for directly con-
necting the vessel to the solar circuit
through a 3/4"M connection.
Close the connection if it is not used.
Prior to performing the operations de-
scribed below, it is advisable to cover the
solar panels to prevent overheating of the
liquids used and the potential danger of
burns. After connecting the module, per-
form the following:
- Pressure test
- Fill the system with water.
- Increase the pressure.
- Check the tightness of the system and
