ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

For greater safety, contact a qualifi ed
technician to perform a thorough check of
the electrical system.
The manufacturer is not responsible for
any damage caused by the lack of a suitable
earthing system or by the malfunctioning
of the electricity mains supply. Ensure
that the electrical system can provide the
maximum power required by the module
(as shown on the data plate). Ensure that
the wires have a suitable cross-sectional
area of at least 1.5 mm
Proper connection to an effi cient earthing
system is essential for ensuring the safe
operation of the device.
The power supply cable must be connected
to a 230 V-50 Hz network, while observing
the L-N poles and ensuring connection to
earth.
Important!
Connection to the electricity mains supply
must be performed using a fi xed connection
(not with a mobile plug) equipped with a
bipolar switch with a minimum contact
opening of 3 mm. The module is supplied
with a power supply cable without plug.
Solar control unit connections
The following steps must be performed:
1. Remove
the
casing of the module.
2. Remove the control unit cover by
loosening the two front screws.

3. insert the wires through, from the back
of the Module Plastic casing, using
the free cable glands, dividing the low
voltage

probes, BUS) from the high voltage
connections (diverter valve).
NOTE: leave an adequate length of the
cables as to place the plastic casing and
its support at the top of the module.4.
Connection to a new generation boiler
equipped with BridgeNet® Bus:
use the
BridgeNet® Bus
connecting the cable and observing the
poles:
T with T, B with BUS.
5. Connection to an old generation boiler
not equipped with BridgeNet bus or bus
of other brands:
connect the boiler activation contacts
(refer to the product manual) to the
aux1 connection.
6. Connection of the collector sensor: use
the S1 connector.
7. Connection of the low indirect cylinder
sensor: use the S2 connector.
8. Connection of the high indirect cylinder
sensor (where present): use the S3
connector.
9. Connection of the heating return sensor
(where present in the system): use the
S4* connector.
10. Connection of the diverter valve (where
present in the system): use connector
V1* and observe the polarity.
11. Close the cover of the control unit and
put the front heat-insulating casing of
the module back in place.
12. Power the module.
13. Observe the instructions for the control
unit parameterisation.
