REAR DEFLECTOR
The rear deflector,attached betweenthe rear
wheels of your lawnmower,isprovidedto
minimizethe possibility that objectswillbe
thrownoutthe rear of the lawnmower intothe
operator'smowing position. Ifthe rear
deflector becomesdamaged, it shouldbe
replaced.
TO ADJUST HANDLE
The handleonyour lawn mowerhas three (3)
heightpositions - adjustto heightthatsuits
you.
• Squeeze the bottomends of lowerhandle
towardseach otheruntilthe pinin handle
can be insertedintoone ofthe three height

CARBURETOR
Your carburetor has a non-adjustable fixed
mainjet for mixturecontrol. Ifyourengine
does notoperateproperlydue to suspected
carburetor problems, takeyour lawn mowerto
an authorized servicecenter/department f or
repairand adjustment.

When lawn iTtower is to:be Stored for a period
of time, clean it thoroughly, remove all dirt,
grease, leaves, etc. Store in _l'€lean, dry area.
• Clean entire lawn mower (See "CLEANING"
in the Customer Responsibilities section of
this manual).
• Lubricate as show_jn the Customer
Responsibilities section of this manual.
• Be sure that all nuts, bolts, screws, and pins
are securely fastened. Inspect moving
parts for damage, breakage and wear.
Replace if necessary.
• Touch up all rusted or chipped paint

HANDLE
• You canfoldyour lawn mower handlefor
storage.
• Looeenthe two (2) handleknobson sidesof
the upperhandle.andallowhandleto fold
downto the rear.
• Squeeze the bottomends oflowerhandle
toward each otheruntilpinsin handleclear
the bracketsand pivotentirehandle
..assemblyforwardand allow it to rest on
mower.
• When setting upyour handlefromthe
storage position,the lowerhandlewill
requiremanuallylockingintothe mowing
posib'on.
IMPORTANT: When folding the handlefor
Storageor transportation be sure to foldthe
handleas shownor you may damage the
control c ables.
