3.4. Advanced Applications
3.4.1. Date and Time
Generally, a phone retrieves the date and time from a Network Time Protocol (NTP) server when it
connects to the Internet. Alternatively, the date and time can be configured manually. NTP is a
protocol for distributing the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) by means of synchronizing the clocks
of computer systems over packet‐switched, variable‐latency data networks.
Note: By default, the network settings are configured for automatic provisioning. However, if you
need to change them, you can do it manually as is described in this part.
Access the 'Date and Time' page (Configuration tab > Advanced Applications > Date and Time).
3.4.1.1. Daylight Saving Time
Active: Enable or Disable de Manual Daylight.
Date Format: Select de Fixed or Day of week.
Start Time: Set the start time.
End Time: Set the end time.
Offset: Define the minutes to offset the hour.
Set the Daylight Saving Time according to your needs and then click Submit.
