■ DSC address ID:
♦ Programming address ID:
A total of 100 9-digit DSC address IDs can be programmed and named with a maximum of 10 characters.
In DSC menu, select "ADDRESS" function, and then "ADD INDV ID".
♦ Deleting address ID:
In DSC menu, select "ADDRESS" function, and then "DEL INDV ID".
♦ Programming the group ID:
In DSC menu, select "ADDRESS", and then "ADD GROUP ID" to first input the 9-digit ID code, and then the 10-character ID name.
Note:
- The first one digit is specified "0" for group ID. The first two digits are "0" for coast station ID.
♦ Deleting group ID:
In DSC menu, select "ADDRESS" function, and then "DEL GROUP ID".
♦ Auto switch function:
By regulation, after receiving a Distress call, the transceiver basically switches the normal operating channel to Channel 16. However, when
this setting is set to "OFF", the function enables the transceiver to remain on the normal operating channel even after receiving a Distress call.
In DSC menu, select "AUTO SW" function.
Available settings: ON/OFF (Default "ON").
ON: The transceiver automatically switches the normal operating channel to channel 16 after receiving a distress call.
OFF: The transceiver remains on the normal operating channel even after receiving a distress call.
♦ Auto tune timer:
This is the amount of time after receiving a Distress call before the transceiver switches to channel 16.
