ID sticker
Should your pet or the camera be lost, there is an area at the back of the camera
where pet owners can handwrite their names and contact details on the provided
sticker (See diagrams § Description).
Warning
Pet owners are advised to observe the usual precautions associated with the use of a
collar. It is recommended that pets, and especially cats be fitted with a safety or
breakaway-type collar to prevent collar injury or strangulation: safety collars either
made entirely of stretchy elastic material or, using the nylon-type, consist of two parts
connected by an expandable elasticated portion.
Metal and other rigid-type collars should never be used.
Remember to check your pet's collar regularly to ensure it fits; it will need
adjusting as your pet grows.
How to attach the camera to your pet's collar and fitting the collar
The fastening clip has been specially designed so the camera can fit on collars from
3/8 to 1.2 inch (from 1 to 3cm wide). To attach the camera to your pet collar, slide
the collar through the tab of the fastening clip and make sure that the camera is
securely in place.
The collar should always be fitted so it is comfortable but not too loose. The rule of
thumb is that there should be enough room to fit two fingers between your pet's neck
and the collar.
After having fitted the collar around your pet's neck, adjust the angle of the camera to
ensure that the lens is perpendicular to the ground.
