On/Off Switch: The On/Oft switch is located on the right side of the calculator.
When you turn the calculator on, it is cleared and ready to use.
Decimal Selector: The Decimal Selector switch determines the number of decimal
places that are printed or printed/displayed.
A
Monetary add mode. At this setting, amounts entered are assumed to
be monetary. The calculator automatically supplies a decimal point to the
left of the last two digits entered. Use this setting to add, subtract, multip¬
ly and divide decimals.
0, 2,
Fixed decimal point mode. These settings specify the number of digits
3, 4,
to the right of the decimal point that are shown in the result.
F
Floating decimal point mode. This setting specifies that ail digits of the
result are shown, up to a maximum of 12. If the result exceeds 12 digits,
excess digits to the right of the decimal point, are dropped. No rounding
takes place.
Decimal Rounding Selector: The Decimal Rounding Selector determines how a
result is rounded.
t
This causes automatic round down (truncation).
5/4
This setting causes automatic round off. If the last digit of the result that
will be printed or printed/displayed upon rounding is followed by a value
of 0 to 4, the digit is unchanged. If the last digit of the result that will be
printed or printed/displayed upon rounding is followed by a value of 5 to
9, the digit is rounded up.
1
This setting causes automatic round up.
The setting of the Decimal Rounding Selector does not have any
affect when the Decimal Rounding Selector is set to F. Digits beyond the 12-digit
capacity are dropped; no rounding takes place.
Group and Grand Total Switch:
GT
When this switch is set to the "GT" position, totals result from depress¬
ing the Total (T) key are added to the contents of the Grand Total register.
At this setting, depressing the Total (T) key only clears the contents of
the accumulator.
Print Selector:
NP
In the NP position, no printing takes place unless you use the Subtotal,
Non-Add/Date or the Clear/Clear Entry key.

depressing the Subtotal (S) or Total (T) key.
