fully before using the appliance and

This appliance is suita-
ble for use in a bath tub

This appliance can be used by

given supervision or instruction

not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children
without supervision.
This appliance operates on one
LR6 (AA) type battery (1.5 V).
Do not recharge non-rechargea-
ble batteries. Remove recharge-
able batteries from the appliance
before charging. Batteries may
leak if empty or not used for a
long time. Remove exhausted
batteries in a timely manner and
avoid skin contact whilst handling
leaking batteries.
Dispose of batteries safely.
Do not short-circuit battery
terminals.
For hygienic reasons, the appliance should
only be used by one person.
Do not use the appliance on irritated skin.
Do not use with a damaged trimmer head.

Turn the switch cap (3) to position ...
«I» to switch on.
«O» to switch off.
B For trimming, hold at an upright posi-
tion and move against the direction of
hair growth.
You may attach the trimming comb (1) to
trim hairs down to 4 mm length.
C For contouring, hold the appliance flat.
D Cleaning and maintenance
Switch on the appliance to rinse the trim-
mer head (2) with running tap water.
For a thorough rinse of the inside, switch
off and open the trimmer head by firmly
pushing against the teeth.
To help keep your appliance at top per-
formance, oil the trimmer after wet
usage or cleaning: Apply a drop of light
machine oil on the trimmer, then briefly
turn on to ensure the oil is distributed
evenly.
E Battery replacement
Turn the switch cap (3) to the ▼ position
and open the battery compartment.
Replace the battery observing correct
polarity. Close the switch cap as shown
and lock it by turning it to the «O» position.
Disposal
This product contains a battery
and recyclable electronic
waste. To protect the environ-
ment, do not dispose of it in
the household waste, but take it to
appropriate local collection points for
recycling.
