7. MAINTENANCE
Risk of serious damage to the health of personnel.
Perform the procedures described in this chapter only with the instrument switched
off.
Turn the master switch to 0-OFF.
Wear the prescribed PPE for each procedure.
Maintenance of the instrument includes the inspection, checking, control, adjustment and replacement
required as a result of normal use of the instrument.
Use only original spare parts as well as tools suitable for the purpose and in good working order.
Observe the service frequencies indicated in this manual for routine maintenance.
The distance between one intervention and the next is intended as an acceptable maximum; therefore, it
must not be exceeded but may be shortened.
Promptly check the causes of any anomalies such as excessive noise, overheating, leakage of fluids, etc.
... and rectify them.
The timely removal of any causes of failure or malfunctioning prevents further damage to instrument
components and ensures the safety of operators.
The personnel responsible for maintaining the instrument must be trained and have a thorough
knowledge of accident prevention regulations.
Unauthorised personnel must remain outside the work area during maintenance operations.
