4.3 OBLIGATIONS AND PROHIBITIONS
4.3.1 USERS' OBLIGATIONS
The user (contractor or employer) must:
Take the operators' skills and conditions into account in relation to their health and safety.

Provide suitable personal protective equipment for each procedure.
•
Provide standard lifting equipment and procedures.
•
Require each worker to comply with company rules and regulations regarding safety and how to
•
use the collective and personal protective equipment made available to them.
Instruct staff on accident procedures.
•
Train staff on the residual risks present.
•
Instruct staff on the devices designed for operator safety.
•
Instruct staff on the risks of noise emissions in the workplace.
•
Instruct staff on the general accident prevention rules set forth by the European directives and the
•
legislation in the country of destination of the machine.
INFORMATION
Only personnel who have read this manual and been properly trained may operate
the instrument.
4.3.2 OBLIGATIONS OF OPERATING PERSONNEL (OPERATORS / MAINTENANCE
PERSONNEL / TECHNICIANS)
The personnel in charge of using the instrument must:
Use the instrument within the limits set out in paragraph 'Proper intended use'.
•
Only use the instrument within the permissible environmental conditions (see "Chapter 5").
•
Carry out only those operations they are authorised to perform.
•
Always perform maintenance work with the machines off.
•
Check that the instrument has not been modified or altered and, otherwise, report this to your
•
employer.
Check the integrity of the instrument before commissioning.
•
Check that there are no persons who can directly access moving parts during the work cycle.
•
Properly use the personal protective equipment (P.P.E.) made available by the employer.
•
Immediately report deficiencies, malfunctions or the absence of required safety devices to the
•
employer, manager or supervisor.
