Maintenance and Care
a) Make sure that all nuts, screws, and bolts are tight so that the device can work
safely
b) Never store the device with fuel in the tank in buildings where vapors of open
flames or sparks can be generated
c) Let the motor cool down completely before storing the device in closed rooms
d) Keep the engine, silencer, battery compartment, and fuel tank free of grass
clippings, leaves, and grease to reduce the risk of fire
e) Check the grass catcher regularly for wear or loss of functionality
f) Always replace worn or damaged parts for safety reasons
g) If the fuel tank has to be emptied, this should be done in the open air
h) Stop the engine and switch off the spark plug, make sure that all moving parts
have stopped:
- before you remove blockages and clear the cutting channel.
- before you check, clean, or carry out any work on the device.
- after you have detected a foreign object. check the device for damage and repair
it before putting the lawnmower back into operation
- if the lawn mower vibrates unusually strongly, you should check it immediately
i) Use the device only in daylight or in areas well lit with artificial light
j) Perform cleaning and maintenance work before storage.
k) Note, improper maintenance, use of non-compliant spare parts, or removal or
modification of safety devices may result in damage to the device and severe injury
to the person working with it.
m) Only use cutting tools and accessories recommended by the manufacturer. The
use of other insert tools and other accessories can cause a risk of injury to the
user. Always keep the mower in good operating condition.
