3. What to consider when cutting out
The adhesive bead can be cut out more easily if the
angle towards the cutting face is sharp. When approach-
ing thicker PU beads (i.e. junctions), or when the cutting
angle increases, the speed of the power drill should be
reduced to compensate for the additional load that may
be incurred. Maintaining a constant reduced speed in
these situations may avoid any unnecessary strain to
the cord.
If the Single-Cut EVO 5.0 is used for sidelights, the
secondary suction pad with vacuum indicator can also
be attached on the outside of the glass.
Generally, most passenger vehicles cars require 7-8 m
of fiber cord, whereas commercial vehicles/trucks may
require 8-10 m. The specific length may vary depending
on the vehicle model.
