Press and hold button 9) to switch from the MANU to the AUTO mode.
Gently press button 9) to switch from the AUTO to the MANU mode.
Relative (REL) / Peak (PEAK) Value Measurement Mode
Press button 8) to enable the relative value measurement mode; the meter will display
REL.
Gently press button 8) to disable this mode.
Press and hold button 8) to enable the PEAK value measurement mode; the meter
will display PEAK. Switching the meter to the PEAK value measurement mode will
automatically enable the MANU range selection mode. To reset the automatic range,
press and hold button 9) .
To switch the meter from the PEAK to the REL mode, press button 8).
Maximum (MAX) / Minimum (MIN) Value Measurement Mode
Press button 5). The meter will display MAX. This function allows the maximum
measured value to be displayed.
Pressing button 5) again will allow the MIN function to be selected and displayed. The
minimum measured value will thus be displayed.
Light Source (L.S.) Selection
Press and hold button 5) to select the light source.
The light sources can be selected by pressing buttons 5) and 6).
There are 10 light source selections (L0 - L9):
L0  standard light source A: 1000
L1  LED white light: 0.990
L2  LED red light: 0.516
L3  LED amber (yellow) light: 0.815
L4  LED green light: 1.216
L5  LED blue light: 1.475
L6  LED purple light: 1.148
L7-L9  LED default standard light source
To confirm the selected light source, press button 7).
Data Hold
Press button 7) to enable the data hold function; the meter will display HOLD.
To exit this function, press button 7) again.
Zero Calibration
Ensure that the protective cover is attached to the optical sensor. Press and hold button
7); the meter will display ADJ.
The meter will self-calibrate to zero. This operation will take a few seconds, during which
the other functions of the meter will be disabled.
The meter will beep once (e.g. in the mute mode) to confirm that self-calibration has
been completed, and it will no longer display ADJ, thus being ready for operation in the
