TROUBLESHOOTING
1. The machine does not switch on.
2. The machine does not start and the light on the Espresso button is steady green.
3. No coffee and no water come out.
4. The machine switches off.
5. Beverage is splashing out.
6. When I press the extraction button, no coffee comes out.
7. The Cleaning System light blink orange and the water tank light blink white.
The lights on the extraction buttons remain steady green.
8. The capsule light is steady orange. All other lights are switched off.
9. The capsule light blinks orange. All other lights are switched off.
10. All the extraction buttons blink green. The cleaning system, deposit for used
capsules and capsule lights blink orange.
The machine does not respond.
11. The Cleaning System light is steady orange.
The lights on the extraction buttons remain steady green.
. Check that you have plugged the lead into the socket.
. Check the mains or the socket.
. See chapter "Start-Up Mode" (page 34); or press the Espresso button to start the cleaning
procedure.
. Check that the water tank is full.
. Check that the capsule light blinks green. If it does, insert the capsule.
. To save energy, the machine will switch off automatically after 3 minutes of non-use.
. See chapter "Standby Mode" (page 36).
. Check that the container was properly washed and has no coffee residue on the bottom.
. Check that the water tank is full.
. Unplug the machine and plug it back in.
. Check that the water tank is full.
. Perform a cleaning procedure (page 37).
. Remove deposit for used capsules and check that the capsule has not been stuck. If the
problem persists, press and hold the Espresso button for 3 seconds. Then press any extraction
button to start the machine.
. Check that no capsule is stuck in the capsule holder.
. Press and hold the Espresso button for 3 seconds. Then press any extraction button to start
the machine.
. Descaling necessary, the machine may still be used.
