DESCALING

It is recommended to descale the appliance every 1000 extractions.
The descaling warning is automatic. The Cleaning System will turn a continuous orange.
The extraction buttons turn a continuous green.
Follow the safety instructions shown on the Delta Q descaling kit.
Avoid the descaling product coming into contact with eyes, skin, machine or surrounding
surfaces.
Note: Do not insert a capsule to run the Descaling.
• Insert an Espresso cup (1).
Remove the deposit for used capsules and clean it.
Dissolve two teaspoons of Delta Q descaler in a container with 150ml of water.
Pour the solution into the water tank up to the "descaling" line (2).
• Press the Espresso and Cleaning System buttons at the same time for 5 seconds until the
process starts.
The Espresso button will blink green, and the Cleaning System button will blink orange (3).

Once the descaling is finished in this phase, the Cleaning System and the deposit for used
capsules will turn a continuous orange (4) and the water tank will blink white.
• Remove the deposit for used capsules and clean it.
Clean the water tank and re-fill it up to the "descaling" line.
Press the Cleaning System button to resume descaling (5).
When the descaling is finished, all extraction buttons will turn a continuous green
and the capsule icon blink green (6).
Note: If the water tank, the deposit for used capsules or the cup are removed,
the descaling process will "pause".
To resume descaling, press the Cleaning System button.
