7 Using a #6 hex tool (P), remove the bolt (careful not to lose the washers) from each of the Inclined Cover mounts (G).

8 Place the Gas Spring Arm (C) over the short Extension Arm (D) socket
9 Secure with the bolt (and washers) removed in the previous step and tighten fully.
NOTE: do this for BOTH monitor arms at the same time if you are mounting two monitors.
