4.1 COMMISSIONING
The strainer must not be clogged by mud and/
or fibrous media.
Avoid dry running, without pumped fluid.
4.2 LOCKING THE FLOAT SWITCH
The float switch can be locked in the ON position
using the supplied float lock device
4.3 FLAT SUCTION FUNCTION
By means of the flat suction function, you can
pump off up to a 5 mm residual water depth.
Note: in order to enable ventilation of the pump,
there must be an initial water level of at least
50 mm.
• Use a slot screwdriver to lever off the bottom
strainer.
• Lock the float in the ON position (see 4.2)
• Place the pump on its feet in the fluid.
4.4 RINSING FUNCTION
If the pump is used as a stationary unit in a well,
it is recommended to use the rinsing function to
avoid the accumulation of solids at the bottom
of the pit.
Note: pump performance will be slightly reduced.
• Using a slotted screwdriver, lift the strainer.
• Drill 5 mm holes where indicated (▲) in figure 7.
• Replace the strainer.
4.5 ADDITIONAL VENTILATION
If the pump is used as a stationary unit and/or if a
very dirty fluid is pumped, remove the additional
ventilation screw (✱) as shown in figure 6.
4.6 INCREASING THE PARTICLE SIZE
(Sanisub 800 ONLY)
A maximum particle size of 20 mm can be
obtained by placing the pump on the feet
provided.
• Using a slotted screwdriver, lift the strainer,
• Fit the feet Ⓗ supplied.
• Place the pump on its feet in the fluid.
