It is good practice to periodically check all internal electrical connections,
making sure that the cables and terminals do not show signs of overheating
due to bad contact. Remove all accumulated dust.
If there are filters (see fig. A page. 2), check them regularly, and when
necessary, remove them from the charger for cleaning with water
or compressed air. Incomplete cleaning of the filters causes failure to cool
the charger and consequent malfunction.
The range of Polar Q Series chargers is made up of several models of different
sizes, both single-phase and three-phase. The table see pag. 3 describes
the main components of the battery chargers.
Some models of Polar Q Series chargers are equipped with a backlit front
panel with RGB LEDs that indicate the charging status by changing color.

The meaning of the colors in the various states of the charger is shown below:

BLINKING BLUE: Battery charger ready to start charging with battery
connection
a
RED: Battery charging, charge level below 80%
Charge status: Bulk (see fig.B page 5)

YELLOW: Battery charging, charge level over 80%
Charge status: Absorption + Conditioning + Final (see fig.B page 5)
a
GREEN: Battery charged
State of charge: Equalize or Floating (see fig.B page 5).
"Battery Charger" mode — used as chargers.
Q-SERIES chargers are equipped
with a backlit LCD display
and three touch keys.

When switched on, the display turns on and provides information on temporary
screens which show the current settings of the charger.
